As well as our Doctors the practice team includes our Nurse Clinician, Practice Manager, Practice Nurses, Reception Team & Administrators. Our extended team includes the District Nurses, Midwives, Health Visitors & Mental Health Services to provide the best medical care for our patients.
You may not always see the doctor first – you can use the help of all the practice team. Our Nurse Clinician is able to see patients in the same way as a GP would and can prescribe, treat and refer in the same manner.
There may be occasions when a nurse or other health professional will be able to attend to you sooner, rather than having to wait to see your doctor.
We welcome comments and suggestions regarding our practice (and complaints) from patients. Please make them in person or in writing to the Practice Manager.
Please join our Patient Participation Group to give us your views and suggestions on how best we can help our patients. We meet 3 times a year. Ask for a registration form at Reception.
Both surgeries are suitable for wheelchair access on the ground floor. Arrangements can be made for the doctor or nurse to treat disabled patients in the downstairs consulting room at Limefield on request.
Medicals for Insurance Companies, adoptions and HGV licences can be arranged. Please book a long appointment in morning surgery and tell the receptionist it is for a medical. (Most medicals require urine testing so please bring a sample with you).
