The nurses are available at one of the surgeries most days. Please telephone and make an appointment. Their services include blood pressure checks, pregnancy testing, blood tests, cervical smears, breast checks, adult/child immunisations including tetanus and flu jabs, well person checks, help with care of people with chronic illnesses, and advice re minor injuries and travelling abroad.
The Practice Manager role looks after the running of the practice. Jessica Houghton is undertaking this role with the support of Witton Surgery Senior Practice Manager/Business Manager Mark Bolton.
The secretary deals with all the clerical duties. Enquiries regarding hospital appointments, hospital referrals, Choose and Book or insurance reports should be made to her.

This Admin team deal with all communications relating to patients, document manage and ensure patients are invited for their medical reviews, flu vaccinations etc.
The receptionists will help you by making appointments, taking repeat prescription requests, passing on messages for the doctors and nurses and handling new patient registrations.
Being a small surgery you will, however, find all our staffing manning reception and telephones.

Maxine and Hajra do blood tests and new patient checks on Monday and Wednesday morning at Limefield Surgery
As we are a Training Practice, you may sometimes be offered an appointment with an FY2 doctor or a GP Registrar (ST Doctor). They are qualified doctors who are with us for 4 months or 12 months to gain experience working in General Practice. They are closely supervised by the senior clinicians.
We sometimes have students with us training to become doctors or nurses. They are closely supervised. They really enjoy meeting patients and hearing your stories.
