We welcome any new patient that lives within the boundaries of the practice area. Please use the catchment area link below to see if you are within our area.
We never discriminate on the grounds of age, sex, medical condition, race, disability or social class, and if we are unable to register you we will always provide you with a reason either verbally or in writing.
To register with our GP Practice please ask reception for a registration form. If you have a photo ID or medical card then please bring this along with you.
We aim to register all new patients within 48 hours of receiving your forms.
Whilst you are registered with the practice, every patient has a named GP who is responsible for overseeing their clinical care, they are known as your ‘Usual GP’. If you are unsure who your ‘Usual GP’ is please ask.
If you are here for only a short holiday or period of time, and need to see a doctor, please contact reception on 01254 617630. You will then be asked to complete the relevant form.
Once you have completed the form you can receive emergency treatment from the practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient. The appts will be offered on the same basis as our registered patients so you may not get seen straight away. If you require an urgent on the day appt please see our front page for same day centres and extended access.
You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with the practice
